Three useful dressing tips for petite girls

Many petite girls feel frustrated about their short height. Most models on runway are so tall and slim. Sometimes we find the dresses look so gorgeous on the models, but when we buy the dress and finally put the dress on, we find that dress isn’t flattering for the body type. Looking tall and slim is the dream of many petite girls. Here are three dressing tips for short girls.

Raise waist line

The waist line position is a key factor when we judge a person's height. By raising the waist line, you can look inches tall in visual. What’s more, high waistline helps to modify the body proportion. If you love to wear dress, opt for dress with high waist design. For those who love two-piece look, choose a short top and pair it with high waist pants or skirt. Crop tops are trending recently. Match your sexy crop tops with vintage short pants or high waist short skirt, and you will look at least 10cm taller.

Wear one color

You’d better limit you dress colors to one color if you are not tall. Find a flattering color for your skin tone and body type, then wear it from head to toe. Bright and eye-catching colors like lime green or hot pink would brighten up your look, therefore, making you appear refreshing and taller.

Avoid mid-length dress

If you are petite, choose dress either very short or very long. Short dresses reveal more of your skin and can lengthen your leg lines in visual effectively. Keep in mind, avoid low waist and close-fitting skirts, they will only end to make you legs look shorter. High waist A line skirts would work better.
