The color blue is a classic color that
suits almost every hue. Every time when you find that you can’t decide which color
to wear for a special occasion, you may play it safe with blue. There are many
ways to add blue to your looks. The following are some of my tips on how to
wear blue in a tasteful way.
Blue is a magic color, it goes well with
many colors like bright green, red, pink, yellow and violet. Try to choose
those hues and shades that suit your skin, eyes color and hair. Speaking of
prints, then any beautiful blue dress looks neutral. One of the things that I
love about blue is how crisp and confident it is. You can wear it alone or with
numerous other colors and it always stands tall and remains an elegant backdrop
or centerpiece alike.
The calm and classic shades of blue look
ideal for neutral daywear and office looks. Evening options may be either
bright, opened or even eye-catching. If you are not confident in your abilities
of a stylist, then you better go for minimum accessories. Sometimes clutch and
shoes are fair enough in addition to a beautiful blue dress. But if you still
want to add some jewelry, then go for tiny classic ones.
Sometimes when it comes to wearing a solid
color dress we face the question of how what we should wear with it. Shoes are
one of the first accessories we need to go with our blue dress. Depending on
the shade of blue, one color of shoe will be better than another, but in
general you can wear nude or skin color, black, gold or silver shoes with blue
clothes. In the latter cases, make sure they are not too bright and flashy. Once
you've chosen your shoes, look for a bag that goes with everything too. If it's
for a ceremony or formal event opt for a small handbag. And if it is something
more casual, you can choose a big and bold bag.
Fall and winter are the seasons for
layering so don’t let the low temperatures intimidate you and allow it to work
to your advantage! Wool dresses will keep you cozy while still rocking some
bright tights. Let the inspiration flow and mix and match until you find the
right combination for you and your style, it’s all about practice and trying
things out to find new styles and outfits that accommodate your look and day to
day activities.
